Picture selected by Lonely Planet and Huffington Post

So, my pictures have been selected and tweeted by Lonely Planet in the past. See one of 'em here: http://www.traveltowrite.blogspot.in/2013/09/in-footsteps-of-james-bond.html

But this is the first time that I've made it to both Lonely Planet and Huffington Post. My Picture of the Living Water Wayside Chapel, Niagara-on-the-lake, was tweeted by Lonely Planet, and got selected for a feature by Huffington Post on the Best Travel Pics of 2013

Great way to end 2013!

In the footsteps of James Bond

So I made it to the Eilean Donan Castle, which was featured in the James Bond film, 'The World is not Enough'. The castle sits perched on an island where three sea lochs meet, off the village of Dornie, in the Scottish Highlands. Little wonder that it's one of the most photographed monuments in all of Scotland.

The world's smallest chapel lies in Ontario, Canada

It may look surreal in this picture, but it exists. This is The Living Water Wayside Chapel, situated in Niagara-on-the-lake, in Ontario, Canada. The chapel is enroute to the Niagara Falls, from Toronto. And it holds a Guinness Record for its diminutive size - 10 feet by 10 feet (approx), with a capacity to seat only six people.

Life's a beach

If you're looking at taking a beach holiday, but don't know which strip of sand to pick, I can help. After lying in hammocks all day long, walking across shores and sea-beds, and posing as a pirate at the Tall Ships Festival, I've put together a list of the best beaches on the planet. Read on:

28 states. 28 weeks. 28 jobs

Meet Jubanashwa Mishra, all of 28 years old. He's part of the 'One Week Job' project where he will be travelling through 28 states in India, in 28 weeks flat to take up 28 different jobs. The jobs he hopes to hold range from 'Cremation Assistant', to 'Boat Driver', to 'Emotional Consultant' to 'Photographer' to 'Film Critic' etc.

Why is he doing this?
He's an IT Engineer, but wanted to 'experience more' and 'discover his passion', and this working trip through India aims at helping him do just that. My promise to you, dear readers

Shorter posts. So I've noticed the posts getting a bit to long. I promise to try and keep it short and sweet.

In one word - brevity.
